You know, maybe if we reflect upon these things, we will stop and think before we do some of the things we do matter of facility. Perhaps we can come to appreciate some of the freedoms and privileges we so often take for granted.         LW

FROM THE EDITORS’ DESK

As we strive to teach and admonish the readers of the Fruit Of The Spirit with timely Bible articles, we periodically pause to re-examine the journal and determine where changes need to be made to better serve our readers. This re-examination process involves feed back from our readers regarding the content and format of the FOTS. Feed back comes from letters, emails, phone calls, and by the web counter, which tells us how often each page is visited on the internet.

During the past quarter, such an evaluation was performed and the results were examined by the editors of the Fruit Of The Spirit. After considering these results, along with other factors that have influenced and affected the material presented, it has been determined that certain changes are necessary in order to make the best use of the limited space in each issue of the FOTS.

The most noticeable changes that will take place are the elimination of the “From The Mission Field” page and the “Hearing Of Their Faith” page. These pages will contain articles on a wider range of subjects and may even include letters to the editors, questions and answers, or extra announcements requiring more space than is available on page 12.
