Water From A Rock

In 2 Chronicles 34, the Bible records the story of King Josiah. He became king when he was only eight years old and he ruled in Jerusalem for 31 years. The Bible says that when Josiah was 16, he decided to follow God and serve Him. Josiah destroyed all of the idols and he broke down all of the altars and temples that the people used for idol worship.

The Bible says that when Josiah was 16, he decided to follow God and serve Him. Josiah destroyed all of the idols and he broke down all of the altars and temples that the people used for idol worship.

Later, Josiah commanded the people to repair the temple of God. He ordered that money that was dropped into the box at the temple should be used to pay the workers.

While the workers were repairing the temple, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of Moses in the temple. He gave the book to the scribe named Shaphan. Shaphan took the book to Josiah and read it to him.

When the king heard the words of the book, he was very sad, because Israel was not obeying God’s word. Josiah read the word of God’s law to the people and commanded that everyone should obey God. God was pleased with Josiah, because he loved God and wanted to obey God’s word.

God was very happy with Josiah because he obeyed God’s word. Jesus said that people must live by every word that comes from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).

Jesus also said that if we keep his commandments, God will love us (John 14:23).

Josiah was only eight years old when he became king. Even when he was a boy, he knew to do the right thing. The Bible says that we must remember God and serve Him even when we are young (Ecclesiastes 12:1). The Bible also says that we should not let people talk bad about us because we are young, but we should be a good example (1 Timothy 4:12).
